What Are Annotated Bibliographies?

Annotated bibliographies are a regular feature of my homework assingments in upper level courses. Doing these assignments can teach you to conduct research and read critically, and at the same time, help you to put together term papers more efficiently.

An annotated bibliography lists one or more sources related to a research topic, along with a critical description of each source.

Don't know how to do one? You can consult any number of fairly reliable online guides to making annotated bibliographies.
